These terms govern your use of Looksmith at looksmith.co and related services. By creating an account or purchasing a package, you agree to them.

Who may use Looksmith

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

Your uploads and consent

• Upload only photos you have the right to use—typically photos of yourself.
• If you upload photos of someone else, you confirm you have their explicit permission to use their likeness for AI-generated portraits.
• Do not upload illegal, abusive, or sexually explicit content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

Generated images

Looksmith uses AI to produce portraits from your uploads. Results vary with input quality and style choices. You are responsible for how you use outputs (for example, on LinkedIn, company sites, or marketing).

Image rights are described in the image license section below and on your package at checkout.

Packages, billing, and refunds

• Packages are one-time purchases unless we clearly state otherwise. Prices and credit amounts are shown at checkout.
• Digital delivery begins as soon as generation starts. Because GPU and storage costs are incurred immediately, purchases are generally not refundable once credits are used or a shoot has started.
• If a generation fails due to a platform error, we will restore credits or re-run the shoot—contact support.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Looksmith to:

• Impersonate others without consent, create misleading deepfakes, or harass anyone.
• Generate intimate, nude, or non-consensual imagery of any person.
• Violate applicable law, scrape the service, probe security, or overload our systems.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that pose risk to other users or the platform.

Service changes

We may update features, pricing, or these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimer and liability

Looksmith is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the package at issue in the twelve months before the claim.

Looksmith processes personal data to run your account, generate headshots, and improve the service. This policy explains what we collect and your choices.

Data we collect

• Account data — email address, sign-in history, and preferences you set in the app.
• Uploads — selfies and reference photos you provide for generation.
• Generated portraits — images produced for your galleries and downloads.
• Usage data — device/browser type, pages visited, and operational logs needed to secure and run the service.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we store purchase records, not full card numbers.

How we use data

• Authenticate you and operate your account.
• Generate, store, and deliver your headshots.
• Process payments, prevent abuse, and keep the platform reliable.
• Respond to support requests and send service-related email (for example, sign-in codes and receipts).

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep uploads and generated images while your account is active so you can revisit galleries and re-download favorites. You may request deletion of your account and associated uploads by contacting support. Some records (for example, invoices) may be retained where required for accounting or legal compliance.

Processors and hosting

We use trusted infrastructure and service providers for hosting, image delivery, email, payments, and AI generation. Those providers process data only to deliver the service on our instructions.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security—report concerns to support.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact support and we will respond within a reasonable time.

International users

If you use Looksmith from outside the United States, your data may be processed in the US or other countries where our providers operate.

Children

Looksmith is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We will post updates on this page with a revised "last updated" date.

When you purchase a Looksmith package, you receive rights to use the portraits we generate for you from your uploads, subject to the limits below.

What you may do

• Use generated images for personal profiles (LinkedIn, résumé, speaker bio, company directory).
• Use them in commercial marketing for yourself or your business, including websites, ads, and press—every package includes commercial use unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• Download and store copies from your gallery for as long as your account retains them.

What you may not do

• Claim Looksmith or our models created the underlying photograph without disclosure where misleading.
• Use outputs to impersonate another person, create non-consensual intimate imagery, or violate law or third-party rights.
• Resell raw generated files as stock photography or sublicense them as a standalone image pack without our written permission.
• Use outputs to train competing image models or reverse-engineer our systems.

Looksmith's rights

We retain rights in the service, software, and brand. We may display anonymized or marketing examples only with appropriate consent or using demo content—not your private gallery without permission.

No warranty on likeness accuracy

AI portraits are stylistic interpretations. You are responsible for ensuring final images meet professional or regulatory requirements for your industry.
